Now in its third edition since its first release in 2024, Criature is a playful family of sculptural bookends inspired by the creatures, symbols and imagination of Mexican folklore.
Each Criature is formed from folded steel, transforming a simple sheet of metal into a character with its own silhouette and personality. Designed to live among books and objects, they work both as functional bookends and as small sculptural pieces for the home.
Criature is an original design by María Bravo. The collection explores how everyday objects can carry character, narrative and a sense of play without losing their function.
